How an Environ Ionzyme Skin Treatment Works
The Environ® Ionzyme® DF Machine combines two sophisticated technologies – low-frequency Sonophoresis (sound waves) and pulsed Iontophoresis (electric current). Dual electro-sonic technology creates tiny pathways in the skin to assist in delivering more essential nutrients to where they are needed most. The technology used allows for better product penetration. Environ Ionzyme Skin Treatment Procedure
Treatments on average are 30 to 60 minutes long. We begin by prepping your skin with Environ’s signature 4-step cleansing process to remove any oil, dirt, debris, and makeup from the surface. Steam may be used to help open your pores so that your skin is better prepared for the extractions. A lactic acid exfoliant may be used to gently remove dead skin cells and other skin impurities. Using the Sonophoresis probe, a customized serum is infused it into the skin. This probe allows the treatment of smaller areas of concern intensively, but also the whole face and neck. Selected areas are treated for about 15 seconds. Sonophoresis may be used on its own in combination with Iontophoresis. An appropriate vitamin A serum is then infused either with an Alginate Masque or Haize Gauze, using field Iontophoresis. A cooling, peel-off masque that assists in normalizing the pH of the skin is applied over a treatment gel for better absorption of the active ingredients. Treatment is completed with a vitamin A moisturizer to improve the effects of the skin’s natural moisture levels and support healthy-looking skin.
